Planning Pocket ("the app", "we", "us") is developed by Hexprop. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to add (display name, social media handles, profile photo). Authentication is handled by Supabase; your password is never stored or seen by us in plain text.

Content you create
The app stores the data you enter to provide its features, including:

• Wardrobe items, outfits, and associated photos
• Packing lists and travel plans
• Tasks, routines, and calendar-related data
• Brand preferences and requests

Calendar and Reminders
If you grant permission, the app reads your device calendar and Reminders to display and help you manage events and tasks. This data stays on your device and within your account; we do not share it with third parties.

Location
If you grant permission, the app uses your approximate location to show local weather forecasts. Location data is used only for this purpose and is not stored or shared.

Camera and Photos
The app uses your camera to scan product barcodes (to help auto-fill item details) and lets you attach photos to wardrobe items. Photos you add are stored with your account data.

Microphone and Speech Recognition
If you use voice input to create tasks, the app uses the microphone and on-device/Apple speech recognition to transcribe your speech into text. Audio is not stored after transcription.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide and operate the app's core features
• Sync your data across your devices via our backend (Supabase)
• Respond to support requests and brand/feature requests you submit
• Maintain and improve the app

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising or third-party tracking.

Data Storage and Security

Your account and content data is stored using Supabase (a hosted Postgres database with authentication). Data is transmitted using standard HTTPS/TLS encryption. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Subscriptions

Planning Pocket offers an optional Pro subscription via Apple's In-App Purchase / StoreKit system. Subscription purchases and management are handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive or store your payment details.

Your Choices and Rights

• Permissions: You can grant or revoke camera, photo library, calendar, reminders, location, and microphone access at any time in your device's Settings.
• Account deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account). Deletion is immediate and irreversible — once confirmed, your account and all your data (wardrobe items, outfits, routines, plans, and profile information) are permanently removed from our systems within seconds, and you'll see an on-screen confirmation once it's complete.

Children's Privacy

Planning Pocket is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
